Chaotic Mess

This game was made for the Brackeys game jam 2021.2 in 1 week with C++ and SFML.

Version 1.0 was submitted to the jam and other versions are newer (1.2 being the newest).

Halloween edition is almost identical to the v.1.2 except there is 1 extra modifier, music, textures and the color palette is different.

Before downloading Halloween version v.1.21, please check out this.

How to play:

• Move with W, A, S, D
• Shoot with the left mouse button
• Change weapon with the right mouse button
• Use a powerup with space
• Picking up a yellow target gives you a short speed boost (and regeneration*)
• (v.1.2) picking up a purple target teleports you to the second purple target

*in version 1.1 and forward

How to run the game:

Once downloaded, unzip the folder and run Chaotic Mess.exe

Game startup issues:

There may or may not be a Windows security warning "Windows protected your PC" - this is because (I think) Windows doesn't trust any programs that don't have a verified author. In case that warning shows up, click on more info and run anyway to start the game.

Background music was made by Jonas Tyroller for v.1.0 and v.1.1, and by Zyzyx for v.1.2 and Halloween edition.

Note: support for the game ended in November 2021.
