Indigo
A downloadable tool for Windows
About:
Indigo aka Zombie's Game Launcher is well, a game launcher for all of my Windows games. Currently, it has auto updates, you can download multiple versions of the same game and it tracks some statistics about each game.
How does it work?
Using Indigo is as simple as it gets. After downloading the .zip, extract it (or you don't even have to, but it will extract somewhere temporarily on your PC), and once unzipped, run Indigo.exe which will automatically install the latest version of the launcher within seconds (if you have a decent wifi, that is, but either way there are ~7MB of launcher files so it should be quick).
Updates are installed automatically when opening Indigo, with no popups (updates inspired by Discord), and from there you can launch existing or download any of my Windows games. There is also a news tab where I'll make posts related to my latest game development.
That is about it, there are some fancy effects which are to be expected from me by now.
Flaws:
Indigo is an app that downloads apps. For obvious reasons, it gets flagged by antivirus programs as potentially unwanted malware. So currently the only way to avoid this is to whitelist the app. Not sure if I'll ever find a workaround, but that is the main flaw currently.
Update: It seems like either enough people downloaded the app so that the warnings have disappeared or something else, but from what I've seen it does not get flagged anymore.
