The SFML 3 update - 1.7.0

  • Switched to SFML 3.0.1
  • Multiple objects can now be selected with Ctrl or with a box select (left mouse button)
  • Added remappable shortcuts
  • Added ARM64 support for Windows
  • Removed quad particle systems due to SFML 3, quad particle systems replaced with Quads-triangles option, vertex objects don't have a replacement
  • Added smooth animation when zooming
  • Added shader animation for disappearing grid
  • Changed cursor when panning view
  • Redesigned properties window backend - should allow for editing multiple objects in the future, should be more stable long term
  • Sprites, tilemaps and texts can be created without their assets, defaults missing asset files
  • Sprite and tilemap textures can be removed - replaced with missing texture asset
  • Borderless window is now the fullscreen mode
  • Added "reveal folder" to Linux
  • Upon exiting main view while panning, the mouse position will change sides (unavailable on Wayland)
  • Windows can now be focused with right mouse click

  • Added shortcut for opening about - F1
  • New object shortcut swapped from Ctrl + A to Shift + A

  • Open settings shortcut swapped from F1 to F10

  • RenderStateObject renamed to Asset, assets now defined by path

  • Constructors of sprite, tilemap and text require their textures/fonts in the constructor

  • Auto update shaders/textures/uniforms now on by default

  • Show file renamed to "reveal folder"

  • Fixed repeating resolutions bug

  • Fixed crash upon deleting main camera with shortcuts

  • Fixed crash upon force moving objects without a transformable
