ZLE v.1.4.4

The drag and drop update - 1.4.4

  • Added drag and drop functionality for Windows - copying files to the working directory
  • New file format: .led "Level editor data" - for level data that is only important to ZLE itself such as particle system events and some options specific to the level
  • Changed how Squared generation works - removed parallel processing option - all devices have the "parallel processing" speed now
  • New option in settings - "Export as json" - designed for backwards compatibility, saves level in a human readable format that can be imported in future versions of ZLE
  • Added multithreading to Squared - when converting multiple images, you can now select to use up to 8 CPU cores and process 8 images at once
  • This feature can increase speed quite a lot but is more useful in situations where CPU has multiple cores and single core performance is the bottleneck
  • Added documentation to Level.h
  • Generally optimized Squared generation by 10%
  • Added a Render button to the main scene window - allowes you to render a part of the level to a texture
  • Textures for tilemaps can now be 2d! - tiles can be below one another
  • Added "use both colors" - editor only - parameter to particles
  • Added "delete" button when viewing properties of a file
  • Added "new folder" button to files
  • Fixed a bug with "save shader as image"
  • Slightly optimized tilemaps updating
  • Slightly increased icon size of move and scale on both axis
  • Fixed object selection collision detection being a few pixels off
  • Fixed undo redo bug in tilemaps
  • Fixed crash when closing editor and refreshing files
  • Fixed drag and drop texture to sprite bug
